Associated Risk Managers (ARM) was the vision of one independent insurance agent in Indianapolis, IN in 1969.  Wayne W. Hoffman saw that independent insurance agencies could work together to more efficiently reach national markets and provide clients with responsive services on a local basis.  Today ARM is a thriving network of over 250 agents operating in 26 states producing more than $4.0 billion in annual premium. 

In 1974, a select group of Illinois independent agents came together to form ARM of Illinois.  ARM of Illinois has grown to 26 individual member agencies spread throughout Illinois. 

Illinois ARM members work cooperatively: 
-To create insurance, educational and networking opportunities for members 
-To generate revenue opportunities from insurance programs, products and risk management services. 
-To serve the insurance consumer in a professional manner.
